Gracias a la baja contaminación lumínica de la sierra, el mirador se convierte de noche en un observatorio natural excepcional. En noches despejadas es posible ver la Vía Láctea, planetas y lluvias de meteoros a simple vista. Se recomienda llevar cobija o saco de dormir, ya que las temperaturas nocturnas descienden considerablemente.
