El Ceboruco alberga un bosque de pino-encino con diversas especies de aves canoras, rapaces y mamíferos como venados y coyotes. Los miradores naturales del sendero permiten la observación de fauna silvestre al amanecer y al atardecer. Se recomienda binoculares y guía especializado.
