About the event

Soulful rocker Lauren Anderson brings a powerhouse voice, raw honesty, and fiery stage presence to every performance. Born in Chicago and raised in a home overflowing with music, she absorbed a wide spectrum of influencesSusan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, The Pointer Sisters, Eva Cassidy, Etta James, Joss Stone, Kelly Clarkson, and more.Though her voice now lives in blues, soul, and rock, Laurens roots are deeply classical. She began piano at eight, sang in multiple choirs, and pursued classical voice through high school and college. She earned her Bachelors degree in vocal performance from Augustana College, including a transformative summer in Novafeltria, Italy, studying Italian and touring as an opera student. Opera was the original planuntil she discovered she was meant to belt, wail, and testify through soul and blues.--------Born and raised in Chicago, Nathan Graham meshes South Side Blues with Nashville Americana, beginning his career backing blues singers at famous haunts like Buddy Guys Legends and Kingston Mines. He spent a decade as a guitar-for-hire before picking up a mic to tell his own stories on the stage. Soulful and steady, Grahams music offers a raw introspective of the human condition thats both painful and comforting. His guitar conveys heartbreak, lyrics tell stories of regret, but his rich vocal delivery offers the remedy. Thank you for purchasing a ticket to FITZGERALDS!
