About the event

El Carnaval de Palizada es uno de los más antiguos y auténticos del sureste mexicano, declarado Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial. Se celebra en el parque central y calles aledañas con desfiles de carros alegóricos, música, disfraces tradicionales y coronación de reinas. Generalmente se realiza en febrero-marzo; consulta el sitio oficial para fechas exactas.
