La reserva es hogar de halcones, aguilillas, correcaminos, víboras de cascabel y otros reptiles adaptados al desierto potosino. Al amanecer y al atardecer, la actividad faunística es mayor. Se recomienda binoculares, guía de aves del altiplano y caminar con precaución por las rocas. Consulta el sitio oficial de CONANP para información sobre especies protegidas.
