El parque nacional cuenta con áreas arboladas y mesas de picnic en el exterior donde las familias pueden descansar antes o después de visitar las grutas. El entorno de selva baja caducifolia y bosque galería junto al río crea un microclima fresco y agradable. El acceso a estas áreas se incluye en la entrada general; consulta tarifas en taquilla.
