El sendero que lleva a la cascada atraviesa barrancas con vegetación de bosque mesófilo, cruzando pequeños arroyos. La caminata de ida y vuelta toma aproximadamente 1-2 horas dependiendo del ritmo. Lleva agua, repelente y ropa cómoda; el camino puede ser resbaladizo en época de lluvia.
