El acceso al mirador puede realizarse a pie o en vehículo por caminos de terracería y senderos entre pinos. La caminata desde las faldas del cerro es de dificultad moderada y dura entre 1 y 2 horas dependiendo del punto de partida. Se recomienda iniciar temprano para aprovechar la mejor visibilidad. Lleva calzado adecuado, agua y protector solar.
