The brilliantly offbeat cult British duo has been turning heads across Britain and Europe with their balls-to-the-walls live shows, tongue-in-cheek wit, razor-sharp lyrics and infectious disco-fuelled grooves, teetering between chaos and genius. And now, after selling out tours across the UK and Europe, they’re bringing their riotous show down under for the first time in May/June 2026 – with shows in <strong>Brisbane</strong>, <strong>Sydney</strong>,<strong> Melbourne</strong>,<strong> Auckland </strong>and<strong> Wellington</strong>, presented by <strong>I OH YOU</strong> and <strong>MG Live</strong>. </span></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><br></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><span style="font-size:16px;">Tickets go on sale Friday 14 November at 10.00am local time, with MG Live presale commencing Thursday 13 November at 10.00am local time. It looks mad – there’s snakes and also it takes 40 hours to get there.’ Will be good fun, though! Went to New Zealand to see a mate of ours get married a few years ago and thought it was a lovely country and I really liked those pies they have. It felt quite similar to the UK in a lot of ways, so playing gigs there should be fun!”</span></em></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:0cm;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;text-align:center;'><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Getdown Services</span></strong></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><span style="font-size:16px;"><br>For those in the know, Bristol-based duo Josh Law and Ben Sadler – aka <strong>Getdown Services</strong> – are THE must-see new act of the year. And if you don’t know yet, you will soon … and you’ll wish you got in early! Named as “one to watch” at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and dubbed (by the band themselves) “Britain’s Best Band”, their live shows are equal parts smart, sweaty and gloriously unhinged. Their sound is a wild blend of scrappy indie disco, twisted funk and post-punk energy, turning the absurdity of modern Britain into dancefloor gold. <br> <br>The pair met at school in Minehead, Somerset and now make music together at home in Bristol – churning out what Rolling Stone called “power disco with unrepentant silliness” with a healthy dose of satire and swagger. Their highly lauded debut album <em>Crisps</em> (Breakfast Records, 2023) showcased their eclectic danceable grooves and biting social commentary, and a mix of sharp, funny social observations wrapped in irresistible, funk-fuelled rhythms. Follow-up EPs <em>Your Medal’s In The Post</em>, <em>Crumbs </em>and latest,<em> Primordial Slot Machine,</em> cemented their cult status, alongside an arsenal of red-hot singles – including <em>James Bay’s Hat, Dog Dribble</em>, <em>I Got Views</em> and <em>Eat Quiche, Sleep, Repeat.</em> <br><br></span></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;text-align:center;'><em><span style="font-size:16px;">“Getdown Services are unrepentantly silly and constantly deliver one of the most joyously deranged live shows – just one of the best live bands out there!”<br> </span></em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Rolling Stone</span></strong></p><p style='margin-top:0cm;margin-right:0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;text-align:center;'><em><span style="font-size:16px;">“Their live show is as daft and as exhilarating as they come. Five stars.”<br> </span></em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">Buzz Magazine<br> <br> </span></strong><em><span style="font-size:16px;">“Genuine contenders to being the most exciting and interesting band in the UK right now.”<br> </span></em><strong><span style="font-size:16px;">CLASH</span></strong></p><p><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;'><br><strong>Getdown Services</strong> look set to gobble up the world, one crumb at a time. Whether you’re into danceable chaos, satirical genius or just want to be ahead of the curve, <strong>Getdown Services</strong> are the band you didn’t know you needed – until now! Britain’s favourite new band are about to become yours too! </span></p><p><br></p><p><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif;'>Supporting Getdown Services are local legends <strong>DARTZ.</strong></span></p><p><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'>Proudly from Aotearoa/New Zealand, <strong>DARTZ </strong>have built their reputation the hard way: relentless touring, chaotic live shows, and singalong anthems that thread the needle between beer-soaked pub classics and earnestly ideological indie punk</span></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><strong>DARTZ </strong>make rock songs about real lives, all rooted in the strange humour that comes with living at the edge of the world. Vocalist <strong>Daniel Vernon</strong>, guitarist <strong>Christan Pianta</strong>, bassist <strong>Clark Mathews</strong>, and drummer <strong>Hakopa Kuka-Larsen</strong> formed in 2019, three weeks out from what was only ever meant to be a one-off show. But the New Zealand four-piece hit the ground running, and six years on, <strong>DARTZ </strong>have never stopped moving at pace.</p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'>That sense of speed and urgency still informs their output: scrappy snapshots from the world’s southernmost capital, pulling directly from its run-down rental housing, battered Corollas, and postcolonial political tension. Though lyrics may skate between satire and sincerity, it’s clear that every <strong>DARTZ</strong> track is written for the people in the room - loud, messy, communal, and impossible not to sing along to.</p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'>In the years since, <strong>DARTZ</strong> have taken those loud, communal anthems as far as Europe and the UK, shared stages with <strong>Turnstile</strong> and <strong>FIDLAR</strong>, toured with Australian counterparts <strong>The Chats </strong>and <strong>Dune Rats</strong>, and even snagged a 2027 <strong>Foo Fighters </strong>support slot back home in New Zealand.</p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;text-align:justify;'>The band from Wellington aren’t here to answer life’s big questions: at the end of the day, they lie somewhere between “modern-day folk heroes” and “politically aware class clowns”, depending on who you ask. But beneath the chaos, <strong>DARTZ</strong>’s core mission remains clear: providing real representation for the place they come from and the people who live there.</p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><span style="font-size:13px;">Website - </span><a href=""><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;"></span></a><span style="font-size:13px;"> </span></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><span style="font-size:13px;">Instagram - </span><a href=""><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;"></span></a><span style="font-size:13px;"> <br>Bandcamp - </span><a href=""><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;"></span></a><span style="font-size:13px;"> </span></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><span style="font-size:13px;">Spotify - </span><a href=""><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;"></span></a><span style="font-size:13px;"> </span></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><span style="font-size:13px;">Linktree - </span><a href=""><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;"></span></a><span style="font-size:13px;"> </span></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><span style="font-size:13px;">Tiktok - </span><a href="@smokedartz"><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;">@smokedartz</span></a></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><span style="font-size:13px;">Youtube - </span><a href="@smokedartz"><span style="font-size:13px;color:#1155CC;">@smokedartz</span></a></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0cm;font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'><br></p><div data-ogsc="" style="text-align: center;"><u data-ogsc=""><b data-ogsc="" data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">MG LIVE TERMS OF SALE</b></u></div><div data-ogsc="" style="text-align: center;"><br></div><div data-ogsc="" style="text-align: center;"><a data-auth="NotApplicable" data-linkindex="0" data-ogsc="" href="" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title=""></a></div>
