Her unique blend of dance- pop, delivered with hypnotic deadpan vocals, has earned her a global fan base. The 14 tracks on &lsquo;pain/pleasure&#39; reflect her personal and professional challenges, offering a spectrum of emotions from longing in &quot;Runway&quot; to defiant self-assurance in &quot;Unbothered.&quot; On its lead single, &ldquo;fund$,&quot; Kah-Lo raps about the frustrations of having money owed to her in the music industry. Inspired by a diverse range of artists, her stage name, Kah-Lo, pays homage to the renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, known for her autobiographical style.
