La ruta principal al Cerro del Zamorano asciende desde las comunidades rurales cercanas hasta los 3,340 msnm. El sendero atraviesa bosque de pino-encino y zonas rocosas. Se recomienda salir temprano, llevar agua, ropa de abrigo y guía local; consulta condiciones de acceso con pobladores o guías de la zona antes de tu visita.
