About the event

<p><strong>CHAT PILE</strong></p><p>Sludgy noise superstars CHAT PILE have announced their first ever Australia &amp; New Zealand tour for June 2026. Fusing elements of post-punk, nu metal, grunge, they have earned a cult following for their eclectic take on what they simply deem &lsquo;noise rock.&rsquo;</p><p>Formed in 2019, the band took their name from piles of chat, byproducts of mining which are commonly found throughout northeast Oklahoma. Their adopted stage names Raygun Busch, Luther Manhole, Stin and Cap&rsquo;n Ron were conjured as a way of avoiding identification from previous employers.</p><p>Following the band&rsquo;s self-released debut &lsquo;This Dungeon Earth&rsquo;, they were signed to The Flenser in 2020 and released their debut album &lsquo;God&rsquo;s Country&rsquo;. The album received broad acclaim, including &lsquo;Best New Music&rsquo; on Pitchfork.</p><p>Their second full-length record &lsquo;Cool World&rsquo; was releasing in 2024. They went on to headline Roadburn Festival 2025 and tour extensively, earning a reputation for an incendiary live show.</p><p><strong>It&rsquo;s time.
