El Parque Nacional de Palenque rodea la zona arqueológica y cuenta con senderos a través de selva tropical húmeda con monos aulladores, tucanes y serpientes. El sendero hacia las cascadas del Motiepa y el río Otolum son los más visitados. Consulta el sitio oficial del INAH o la Secretaría de Turismo de Chiapas para condiciones de acceso.
