El Nevado de Colima (4,339 msnm) es el pico más alto de Jalisco y uno de los más accesibles de México para el montañismo. El ascenso parte desde La Joya y requiere condición física moderada-alta. Se recomienda guía certificado y equipo adecuado. Las temporadas de menor precipitación (noviembre-mayo) son las más indicadas; consulta el sitio oficial de CONANP para permisos vigentes.
