La historia entrelaza las vidas de dos viajeros en el tiempo que intentan salvar su planeta, modificando el curso del destino, quienes se topan con Fabricio y Regina. A partir de sus desamores, ambos deciden comenzar un pacto: convertirse en amantes sin enamorarse, lo que los lleva a reflexionar sobre la sociedad y a entender que, al final, hay que "aceptar lo que es y lo que no es".
