Desde las partes altas de los cerros que rodean Jaral del Progreso es posible apreciar el Valle del Lerma con sus campos agrícolas, presas y pueblos. La vista es especialmente espectacular en época de lluvia (julio-septiembre) cuando el paisaje se tiñe de verde. Acceso por caminos de terracería; consulta condiciones locales antes de subir.
