La ribera sur del lago cuenta con tramos ciclables que permiten recorrer el borde del agua entre Jocotepec y localidades vecinas. La ruta combina paisajes lacustres, campos de caña y pequeñas comunidades. Se recomienda bicicleta de montaña o híbrida; la mejor época es la temporada seca (noviembre-abril).
