LOYO Spring Gala Concert
About the event
The Lyceum Oaks Youth Orchestra presents the 2026 LOYO Spring Gala Concert at the Kavli Theatre -- the culmination of a rich season of music and art. This concert is a musical journey from the youngest stages of orchestral performance to the most mature symphonic works. All 6 of LOYO's ensembles, alongside members of LOYO Satellite Campuses, perform the great masterworks of music literature with young musicians from grade school to pre-college levels. The first portion of the Gala includes music for children performed by Youth Strings, Youth Band, and the Flore Ensemble, culminating in a live-animation performance of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" and music from "Pirates of the Caribbean." After intermission, LOYO Virtuosi perform Haydn's 99th Symphony conductorless, and Rachmaninoff's monumental 1st Symphony. The concert is an immersive experience for young music fans and distinguished art patrons alike. Everyone (including infants) entering the theatre must have a paid ticket regardless of age or seating requirements. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
