About the event

Marêjo presents: SimplesTour at Beco das Letras comes to Livraria Beco das Letras in Rio de Janeiro. Hello, Marejete! In October, Beco das Letras opens its doors to welcome SimplesTour: a show that brings Marêjo's original repertoire to the stage. The event will celebrate 1 year of the audiovisual EP release '... simply' – the duo's debut project – taking Beco das Letras as a meeting space between music, performance and visual arts. The programming was designed to provide an immersive experience in the universe of the EP, bringing together the sonorities, colors and languages that pulse with the rhythm of the maring and are part of this trajectory. Prepare yourself for a night carried along by the power of collectivity, which exalts independent production and exchanges between LGBT+, Black and peripheral artists as vectors of popular culture in motion. Presented by host umAna, the sonic atmosphere of SimplesTour is provided by DJ Tonn Fonseca's turntablism, bringing much Brazilianness and contemporary MPB. The opening performance will be delivered by Winona Evelyn, multi-artist indigenous of the Goytaká people in retaking and urban context, who moves fluidly between word, body and image. Marêjo and his band perform the main show of the night, which will be accompanied by popular rhythms and will receive as special guest the singer Kauam, directly from Baixada Fluminense. We will also have the exhibition of works by Bella Arruda and Fybrik, visual artists who collaborated in the construction of the EP's imagery. ... and it's simply about that! Location: Praça da Cruz Vermelha, 40 - Centro, Rio de Janeiro Date and Time: 10/17/2026 (Saturday), from 8 p.m. onwards Tickets: R$20 on the Sympla platform or R$30 at the door Event subject to capacity limits.
