La Sierra de Chiconquiaco forma parte de una de las regiones de mayor endemismo aviar de México. El quetzal, el azulejo de montaña y diversas especies de colibríes son algunos de los atractivos para los observadores de aves. La temporada seca (noviembre–abril aprox.) es la más recomendada. Consulta con guías locales especializados.
