La escasa contaminación lumínica y la altitud de Real de Catorce (~2,750 msnm) hacen que las noches sean ideales para la observación astronómica. Cualquier terreno abierto a las afueras del pueblo ofrece cielos oscuros excepcionales. Se recomiendan los meses de octubre a marzo para mayor claridad. Actividad gratuita y sin infraestructura específica requerida.
