Back by overwhelming demand, the multiple Tony Award®-winning musical MJ is making a victorious return to San Diego. Created by Tony Award-winning Director/Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, MJ goes beyond Michael Jackson's singular moves and signature sound, offering a rare glimpse at the making of the 1992 Dangerous World Tour. Don't miss your chance to experience the show that's electrifying sold-out crowds on Broadway; in cities across North America; London's West End; Hamburg, Germany; and Sydney, Australia once again at the San Diego Civic Theatre in May 2026. MJ THE MUSICAL is recommended for ages 8 and up. Please note that all guests, regardless of age, require a ticket. Children under the age of 5 are not allowed at this performance. Run Time: 2.5 hrs. All Balcony seats require stairs. Show warnings: Includes theatrical haze/fog as well as a significant amount of strobing effects & loud sounds. All tickets will be delivered via mobile & will be made available approximately 2 weeks after the public on sale. Any orders above the ticket limit will be canceled. The Civic Theatre is a cashless venue. This applies to all ticket sales, food & beverage purchases. No Cameras or Recording allowed.
