La ribera de Ocotlán es un excelente punto para observar garzas, pelícanos americanos, patos migratorios y otras aves acuáticas, especialmente durante las épocas de migración (otoño-invierno). Se recomienda llegar al amanecer para mejores avistamientos. Acceso libre desde la orilla del lago.
