Los caminos de terracería que rodean y ascienden el Cerro del Estribo son frecuentados por ciclistas de montaña locales y visitantes. El terreno combina tramos técnicos entre pinares con bajadas con vistas al lago. Se recomienda llevar bicicleta propia o rentar en Pátzcuaro; consulta sitio oficial de turismo para rutas recomendadas.
