El ascenso al Cerro del Cubilete se puede realizar a pie por senderos marcados que ofrecen vistas espectaculares del Bajío. El recorrido completo desde la base hasta la estatua del Cristo Rey (2,660 msnm aprox.) toma entre 1 y 2 horas según condición física. Lleva agua, protector solar y calzado de montaña.
