Ruta de alta montaña que parte desde el Centro Vacacional IMSS (aprox. 3 200 m s. n. m.) hasta la cima a 4 461 m. El recorrido ida y vuelta ronda los 16 km con fuerte desnivel; se recomienda salir al amanecer. Requiere permiso de acceso al parque; consulta el sitio oficial de CONANP para tarifas y condiciones.
