La Sierra de Álamos es uno de los últimos refugios del guacamayo militar (Ara militaris) en México. Guías especializados llevan grupos a sus sitios de percha y nidificación. También se pueden observar más de 350 especies de aves. Temporada recomendada: noviembre–marzo. Consulta operadoras de ecoturismo locales.
