A lo largo de la barranca existen pozas de agua dulce de origen pluvial-manantial donde es posible nadar en temporada de lluvias (junio-octubre). El acceso se hace a pie por veredas que parten del pueblo. Se recomienda ir con guía local pues los senderos no están señalizados. Consulta condiciones con operadores de ecoturismo en Tepoztlán.
