The Cloud
About the event
Elizaveta Poliakova presents The Cloud An immersive dance theatre work created in collaboration with visual artist Dominic Kießling. Dates: June 26 & 27, 2026 Doors Open: 21:00 Location: Haus der Visionäre, Eichenstraße 4A, 12435 Berlin About the Event The Cloud is an immersive dance theatre work by Berlin-based choreographer and performer Elizaveta Poliakova. Combining contemporary dance, kinetic installation, live music, sculpture, and light, the work explores instability, transformation, fragility, and the shifting relationship between body, object, and environment. Created in dialogue with Cloud, a large-scale kinetic installation by Dominic Kießling, the performance unfolds within a constantly changing environment shaped by air, pressure, movement, and light. The installation responds unpredictably to its surroundings, creating a shifting landscape that continuously influences the choreography and atmosphere of the work. Rather than following a fixed narrative, The Cloud unfolds through shifting states of tension, resistance, and transformation. The choreography moves between control and instability as the body continuously responds to the installation, creating an atmosphere that is both fragile and unpredictable. The performance will also incorporate additional sculptural and musical elements that further expand the immersive environment. A live musician will accompany the performance, creating an evolving atmosphere in dialogue with the movement, installation, and space throughout the piece. Lighting design by Marco Di Nardo further transforms the space, treating light not as traditional scenography but as an active choreographic element that continuously reshapes perception. Conceived specifically for immersive and adaptable environments, The Cloud transforms Haus der Visionäre into a fluid landscape of movement, sound, sculpture, and kinetic architecture where perception itself remains in constant motion.
