La ruta principal asciende hasta el cráter del volcán donde se encuentran las lagunas del Sol y la Luna. El recorrido varía en dificultad según el punto de partida (desde ~3,800 m). Se recomienda llevar ropa abrigadora, agua y protector solar. Consulta horarios y cuotas de acceso en el sitio oficial de CONANP.
