La diversidad de ecosistemas de la Sierra de Vallejo —desde selva seca hasta bosque nublado en las cimas— ofrece escenarios únicos para la fotografía de naturaleza: flora endémica, fauna silvestre, paisajes costeros desde las alturas y juegos de niebla matutina. La temporada de lluvias (junio-octubre) maximiza la vegetación exuberante, mientras que la seca (noviembre-mayo) facilita el acceso.
