La orientación astronómica de las estructuras de Uxmal y la luz de las horas doradas hacen del sitio uno de los más fotogénicos de toda Mesoamérica. El Palacio del Gobernador y la Pirámide del Adivino son los puntos más populares para fotografía. Se recomienda llegar en la apertura del sitio para la mejor luz.
