El volcán de Tequila (cerro García) es un volcán extinto que domina el paisaje del municipio y es accesible mediante senderos para senderismo de dificultad media-alta. Desde su cima se obtienen vistas panorámicas de los campos de agave, el pueblo y la región. Se recomienda ir con guía local y consultar condiciones del sendero antes de emprender la caminata.
