VIEW FROM YOUR SEAT Horkýže Slíže 35: The biggest concert in the band's history The chorus? Stronger. The R'n'B? Even more soulful. And age? The Slíže couldn't give a f*ck! The legendary Slovak punk rock band Horkýže Slíže is celebrating 35 years on the scene. "We've aged like paintings by world-famous artists," as they aptly sing. To mark this extraordinary milestone, the band will celebrate with the biggest concert in its history, prepared together with the team behind the Rock for People festival, on November 26, 2027, at Prague's O2 arena. A spectacular show is in the works, and special guests will be part of it too. Who exactly will be joining them? Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out, but one thing is certain -- it's going to be huge! Tickets go on sale September 11 at 10:00 AM via Ticketmaster. Exclusive presale starts September 10 at 10:00 AM. The password will be sent to you after registering via the form. The band's history began in Nitra, Slovakia, in 1992, when Peter Hrivňák -- Kuko (vocals, bass), Mário Sabo -- Saboter (guitar), and Martin Košovan -- Košo (drums) formed a band under the name Horkýže Slíže. Since then, they have performed not only in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, but also in the United States, Ireland, England, and Italy. In 2012, they launched their own festival, Slížovica. Today, Horkýže Slíže perform as Peter Hrivňák -- Kuko (vocals), Mário Sabo -- Saboter (guitar), Juraj Štefánik -- Doktor (guitar), Marek Viršík -- Jean Claude Vandel (drums), and Veronika Smetanová (bass). Throughout their entire career, the band members have never lost their distinctive sense of linguistic and epic humor, parody, and provocation. Slíže have played more than 2,000 concerts, released 15 albums and 2 books, and have racked up more than 100 million views on YouTube. A few years ago, they were also voted the second most popular Slovak band in the Český Slavík music poll. Hits such as Malá Žužu, Silný refrén, Nazdar!!!, R'n'B Soul, and A já sprostá have long since become legendary, bringing families and entire generations together with their timeless appeal. Horkýže Slíže and the Rock for People festival have been inseparable for almost 20 years. The band first performed at Rock for People in 2007, and they have felt right at home there ever since. They have delivered several unforgettable performances at the festival, and every return of the Slíže is an experience that fans -- and not only them -- remember for a long time. Joining forces for this once-in-a-lifetime concert therefore makes perfect sense. That's why Horkýže Slíže and Rock for People are inviting you to Prague's O2 arena for an unforgettable experience that won't be repeated. Accessible Tickets are on sale through Fan Support.
