His most recent release (2024), Just Got Started, on Gulf Coast Records, opened to rave reviews, debuting at #3 on Apple Blues, and #10 on the Billboard Blues Chart and in 2025 Jimmy received his 10th Blues Music Award nomination for Best Instrumentalist/Horn (he won in 2021 and 2022.) A professional musician since 1980, He has toured the world with Tinsley Ellis, Jimmy Thackery, Walter Wolfman Washington, Eric Lindell, and Mike Zito.
