Join Lowell National Historical Park in celebrating Junior Ranger Day! Visit the turbine exhibit at the Suffolk Mill for special family programming. Explore our exhibit to learn all about how engineers harnessed the power of the Merrimack River to create energy in the mills. See a turbine and learn how it worked, experiment with simple machines, and create a balloon powered "shuttle." Our trolley will also be making runs between the Boott Cotton Mills Museum and the Suffolk Mill throughout the afternoon, so be sure to plan to take a ride. Kids and kids at heart can be sworn in as Junior Rangers after their visit!
