Sobre el evento

MORRISSEY comes to Vorst Nationaal/Forest National in Forest (Brussels). A night of live alternative. Following his successful performance at the Lotto Arena in June 2025, Morrissey returns to Belgium on Thursday, December 31st 2026 and invites fans to celebrate in style at Forest National in Brussels for a spectacular New Year's Eve event. Combining a special live performance with a midnight countdown and balloon drop, this exclusive evening promises everything needed for an unforgettable start to the new year. A rare opportunity for Belgian fans to welcome 2027 with Morrissey. You don't want to miss this! This New Year's Eve event is set to offer more than just a concert. In an exclusive setting at Forest National, fans will experience a carefully curated evening built around Morrissey's iconic repertoire, leading into a shared midnight countdown moment. As the clock strikes twelve, the celebration continues with a festive balloon drop, marking the start of 2027 in a truly unique atmosphere. Following the live performance, the night will carry on with a DJ set, keeping the energy high and the celebration alive until 3 AM. Blending a legendary live show with a full New Year's Eve experience, this special event brings together music, celebration, and atmosphere in a way rarely seen on the Belgian concert scene. Morrissey's influence and music legacy is irrefutable. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop as well as one of the greatest lyricists of his generation, Morrissey has achieved 25 top ten album placings in the UK: 15 solo, and 10 with the Smiths. He has received an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British music. When the debut single from The Smiths, 'Hand In Glove', first emerged, the musical landscape was forever changed and launched a rich catalog of songs that include anthems such as 'This Charming Man', 'How Soon Is Now?', and 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out'. When Morrissey embarked on his solo career, his streak of iconic and influential songs continued with 'Suedehead', 'Everyday Is Like Sunday', 'Irish Blood, English Heart', 'First of the Gang to Die', and many many more. Morrissey's newest album, 'Make-up is a Lie' is Morrissey's fifth consecutive album to be recorded in France, of which he says "Music should be the ultimate democracy, with no limitations, and the best of it is not easily categorised. I love my position within music, and I always strive to say things in a different way." This spirit will come to life on stage in Brussels on December 31st 2026, as Morrissey invites fans to be part of a truly special New Year's Eve celebration at Forest National.
