Nayo Jones Experience*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Nayo Jones Experiencesponsored by JAZZ FOUNDATION OF AMERICANayo Jones (pronounced Nīyō) is a Chicago-born jazz vocalist and classically trained flutist who was raised in a musical family and developed her foundation in jazz under the guidance of her father, William Doc Jones. Now based in New Orleans, she is known for her dynamic vocal range and signature blend of jazz standards, soul, and contemporary influences. She leads her own group, The Nayo Jones Experience, while also touring as a featured vocalist with Kermit Ruffins and performing with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, including on their tribute to Allen Toussaint.Jones has appeared at major festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, French Quarter Fest, and Satchmo SummerFest, as well as international stages in Europe and across the United States. She has shared the stage with artists such as George Benson, Chris Botti, Rick Braun, and Richard Elliot, and maintains long-running residencies in New Orleans venues including the Hotel Monteleone and the Jazz Playhouse.Doors: 4:30 pmShow: 5 - 6 pmYou can see these shows every Wednesday in person or by streaming on Snug Harbor and Jazz Foundation of Americas Facebook page.This is a free performance with no ticketing. Seating is on a first come-first served basis.Restaurant is Open 5pm - 11pm for dinner after show This event is 13 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 13 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. All concert ticket sales are final and non-refundable. All patrons must have valid government-issued Photo ID available upon entry. All teenage patrons must be ticketed like adults, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while inside the jazz club. All patrons must be aged 13 or older. Sorry, no children under 13 are permitted. Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro has a STRICT No Cell Phones, No Cameras Policy at all times during all showtimes inside the music room. Violation of this policy while inside the venue may result in removal from the club without ticket refunds. There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere inside the building, and there are NO PETS ALLOWED at anytime. *Legitimate Service Dogs must be wearing full credentials at all times upon entry, and owner must have licensing papers available upon staff request for service dogs.
