Caraça Backyards Cycling Tour 2026 comes to Praça de Eventos José Furtado in Barão de Cocais. 3rd MEMORIES IN FLAVORS FESTIVAL — CARAÇA BACKYARDS CYCLING TOUR The Memories in Flavors Festival was born from the Sowing Project, an activity of the Environmental Education Program by MR Mining conducted with residents of the communities of São Gonçalo do Rio Acima, Campo Grande, Tambor and Paiol. The goal of this festival is to promote the rescue of the culture that gave origin to these communities, valuing traditions and customs through music, cultural presentations and typical Minas Gerais cuisine — the greatest wealth of this territory. The 3rd Memories in Flavors Festival arrives to value culture, cuisine and experience-based community tourism of the Caraça Backyards. A cycling route that will travel roads and communities, connecting participants to the natural wealth, the landscapes of Caraça and the hospitality of rural life, providing direct contact with countryside life, authentic flavors, homemade treats, local products and unique experiences of living with local families.
