Join Jair on a biocultural hiking experience connecting nature, local knowledge, and the history of communities that have inhabited this land. You’ll walk through jungle trails, observe native flora and fauna in their natural habitat, and enjoy spectacular views. Most importantly you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the territory, its ecosystems, and communities are interconnected, and why preserving this relationship matters for the future of the region. This experience is part of XIQUIAN, a new initiative that seeks to promote alternative, biocultural, and community, based tourism in the region, transforming how visitors and communities interact with the territory. Through authentic, conscious experiences, we aim for every visitor not only to discover the destination, but also to understand its natural and cultural value, recognize the communities that keep it alive, and contribute to its conservation.
