Ramses and the Pharaohs’ Gold brings 180 priceless treasures to London for the first and only time, in an exhibition that explores the extraordinary life, power and legacy of Egypt’s greatest pharaoh. Transporting you from the temples of Abu Simbel to the Valley of the Kings, the exhibition’s crowning masterpiece is the Coffin of Ramses II — a once-in-a-generation opportunity to see the pharaoh’s original sarcophagus. Discover gold masks and silver coffins from the royal tombs of Tanis, beautifully preserved animal mummies and amulets, dazzling jewellery alongside colossal sculptures, carvings and stone heads. Following acclaimed, sold-out runs in Tokyo, Paris, San Francisco and Sydney, Ramses and The Pharaohs’ Gold: The Exhibition runs in London at NEON, Battersea Power Station from 28 February 2026. ABOUT RAMSES Builder, Warrior, God…King Ramses II, widely known as Ramses the Great, ruled Egypt for nearly 67 years and remains history’s most iconic pharaoh. Known for his extensive monument-building, military strategy and diplomacy, and a vast dynasty of more than 100 children, he also negotiated the world’s first recorded peace treaty after the Battle of Kadesh. So powerful was his reign, that the nine pharaohs who followed him all adopted the name of Ramses to emulate his strength and vision. This exhibition invites you to witness the rise of a ruler who sought not only to command an empire, but to secure his immortality for millennia to come. Enhance your visit with optional add-ons, including an immersive VR journey and a multimedia audio guide narrated by leading historian and broadcaster Dan Snow, providing expert commentary and deeper historical context throughout the exhibition. Information for deaf visitors Full transcripts, large-print guides, and devices that stream directly to hearing aids are available. FAQS Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue? The entire exhibition is indoors; however you may have to wait outside for a short time prior to entering the exhibition. How long does the experience last? About 60 minutes. Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase? Yes — there is a cafe within the venue after the exhibition. Is there parking available? Yes — there is public parking available within the Battersea Power Station estate a short walk away from the venue; however, there is no dedicated parking for the exhibition. Will there be merchandise for sale? Yes — there is a retail store within the exhibition space where items can be purchased. Do I need to print my ticket? No — your ticket and QR code are stored in your Universe account and sent in your purchase confirmation email. I can’t find my ticket. What should I do? You can view your ticket in the My Tickets section of your Universe account. If you don’t have an account, go to www.universe.com and log in with the same account you used to make the purchase. If you still can’t find it, contact londonboxoffice@neonglobal.com Can I change the date of my ticket? Subject to availability, changes of date/time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time. You can do this in your Universe account What is your refund policy? Tickets are generally non-refundable. However, under special circumstances you can contact Universe with your order number and they may process a request. Can I transfer my tickets to another person? Yes — tickets can be transferred for free via your Universe account. Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session? Please plan to arrive allowing time for travel, parking, and entry. It’s recommended to arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled time so ticket scanning can begin promptly. Tickets bought on-site are subject to availability, so online booking is strongly encouraged. Will there be strobe lights? Yes — during the presentation in the theatre room. Can I take photos or record the experience? Yes — photography and filming are permitted during the experience. Flash photography is not permitted. Is there a Lost & Found? Staff at the venue can assist if you’ve lost belongings. Is a coat check available? There’s no cloakroom, Any bags larger than A4 will not be permitted inside the venue. Are there any restrictions on what I can take in to the exhibition? Eternal food and drink (excluding bottled water), alcohol, recreational drugs, any item(s) that could be considered a weapon (e.g. sharps), any item(s) that could be considered a fire hazard (e.g. lithium batteries), any item(s) that could be considered a protest material (e.g. marker pens, aerosols, flyers, stickers) and pets (unless it’s a service animal). Is there an age requirement? The exhibition is recommended for ages 5+. Pushchairs can be held but are not allowed inside the galleries. Will there be an audio guide? Yes — audio guides are available for purchase as an add-on; check the ticketing page to add one.
