Experience history where it happened at Voices of the War of 1812, an engaging living history program. Step back to the early 1800s and explore the stories of soldiers, sailors, and civilians whose lives were shaped by the War of 1812. Rangers in period clothing bring these stories to life through live demonstrations and storytelling, including a musket firing demonstration where visitors can see and hear how flintlock muskets were used, along with explanations of battlefield tactics and daily military life. Feel free to ask questions, interact with rangers, and gain a deeper understanding of this pivotal moment in history and its lasting legacy of peace between nations. Join us for a memorable and educational experience for visitors of all ages. Please note: Musket demonstrations use  black powder with no projectile and include loud noises. Subject to change due to staffing availability and weather conditions.
