Washington National Opera presents Madama Butterfly takes the stage at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington. Featuring Washington National Opera. Puccini's timeless tragedy returns in a striking new production on WNOs Revolutionary Stage at DAR Constitution Hall. Korean soprano Karah Son makes her company debut as Cio-Cio-San alongside tenor Matthew White and Cafritz Young Artist alumna Michelle Mariposa. Directed by E. Loren Meeker in a setting evocative of Japan by Walt Spangler, this immersive staging brings Butterflys devastating emotional journey thrillingly close.
