In the film Kanelia kainaloon, Tatu ja Patu!, the brothers travel by train from Outola to Helsinki at Christmas time to meet their 9-year-old friend Veera. A fantastic surprise organised by Veera awaits them in the city! However, due to the Christmas rush, Veera is unable to make it to the railway station in time, so the brothers head off into the big city on their own. What follows is an adventure brimming with zany twists and turns, as Tatu and Patu make their way through the city on their way to find Veera. The enthusiastic brothers fervently want to fit in and do what the locals do when preparing for Christmas. They almost succeed. At the Art Museum, they find a ‘gifted’ artist; in a department store, Santa Claus and the Christmas tree get cheerfully mixed up; and why not sprinkle cinnamon in your armpits instead of on your porridge! Fortunately, the brothers’ resourceful friend Veera takes charge, and the friends eventually find their way to each other – and to the grand surprise that Veera has arranged! Duration: 70 min
